At CAPTRUST Community Foundation, we believe that the hearts and minds of children should be cherished, protected, and nourished. We support organizations that specifically help children with physical disabilities, illnesses, abuse, poverty, absence of a parent, and more.

Plain and simple, we want to enrich the lives of all children. Over the ten years we've been in existence, we have given away over a million dollars with that goal in mind. In some cases, we give small grants directly to vetted charities, and in other cases we provide larger grants and partner with charities to help them achieve more than just money would provide.

How we're different

When you support the CAPTRUST Community Foundation, your money won't go to salaries. Every single CAPTRUST Community Foundation representative or board member is a volunteer. As a a 501(c)(3), the foundation must comply with numerous regulatory requirements - including submitting annual reports to federal and state agencies for compliance.

And when we approve a grant, each organization's request goes through a strenuous vetting process before-hand to ensure that they are both in good standing and that we feel confident the money will directly impact the children as much as possible. We want to be able to see where the money will go, and how it will be used - exactly.

In other words, we take our mission to enrich the lives of children very seriously. We are fiercely protective over the sanctity and purity of our cause in order to help as many children as possible. They need us, and we want to be there for them.
